QUALIFICATIONS FOR AFCEF FUNDS:
The candidate must be a surviving child of a U.S. military service member who lost their life on or after October 7, 2001, while in serivce to their country.
The candidate must be enrolled at an eligible educational institution that meets federal accreditation standards.

If the above qualifications are met, an application will be sent upon request.
AFCEF funds are available based on need, not grades, and will be decided on a case-by-case basis.
An essay will be required explaining that need; it must be accompanied by three letters of recommendation which will also serve to verify the need for funds.
AFCEF funds are secondary to other funding sources.
